« A meeting of the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Sourozh »

On March 26, 2024, in the Dormition Cathedral in London, a meeting of the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Sourozh was chaired by His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh.

The meeting was attended by Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Dean of the Diocesan District of Northern England, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko (Secretary of the Diocesan Council), Dean of the Diocesan District of South-East England, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of the Republic of Ireland, Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, and Dean of the Diocesan District of Central England, Archpriest Stephen Platt.

Members of the Diocesan Council sang “Eternal Memory” to the late Archbishop Anatoly (Kuznetsov), former vicar of the Sourozh diocese, who died on January 26 of this year.

During the meeting, His Eminence Vladyka and members of the council discussed the current affairs of the diocese and made a number of decisions in accordance with the agenda of the meeting.
